I was doing the finishing touches on my hair & make up before heading to San Francisco for my birthday dinner. Nothing like the aroma of bathroom cleaner wafting around the candlelit dinner table with soft music in the background. Personally I much prefer the pumpkin-scented candles you've purchased -- they smell great & look great too. And your meals look delicious, although like Matt, I'd skip the laundry detergent addition..... Oh, those Scrubbing Bubbles. But then you will have some things that are your staples and you can just knock em out and it's like "bam, there's bread" that's how that whole wheat recipe is for me now. What I really need to try is the dough mixer attachment for my kitchen aid. Then I wouldn't even have to get my hands dirty! haha haha Glad to hear the detergent worked out well.
