A baking machine

And no, I’m not talking about the oven. I added a jewel in my domestic goddess crown as I made dinner last night–and the only thing frozen was the chicken! Again I take a crack at foodie photography:
Hopefully it’s not too “in your face food.” Matt laughed at me for taking pictures of food again and again refused to be pictured eating it. Party pooper!
Thanks to Matt’s cousin Alisha for the recipe, and to my aunt Claire for helping me start a recipe collection at my bridal shower! Bit by bit this life as a wife stuff is becoming more normal.

haha give Matt some time. He will get into it eventually, especially if you start making money from your blog (not that I am, but I’m just saying). Like I posted a few days back, Matthew started taking pictures for me, so I can just enjoy the food! haha
I’m proud of you for baking tho! I have high expectations for myself tonight. Grocery shop, prep 1-2 casseroles, bake bread, and cook pumpkin to make pumpkin bread / muffins! woo!
(this is because I haven’t been shopping in 2 weeks and we do not have much left in the quick to eat department, everything has to be cooked for awhile (like chicken & meals in a box), nothing for lunch or dinners at school! haha
I’m so proud of you! Looks delicious. I actually took pictures of food last week too. I think Megan inspired me. But mine weren’t of a beautiful Mama’s Fish House dessert – they were of breakfast I made using local Hawaiian produce… yummy…
Speaking of your recipe collection, I think Joan Whitney gave you one that is for chicken that is baked with dried onions or something? Would you be wililng to share that one? It looked really easy, and good. Two of my priorities.
So what the heck did you make? Or is this like a guessing game? My guess is cheesy chicken
Claire, I’ll definitely share the recipe! I just have to remember when I get home.
Christine, It was a rice and chicken casserole.
