A perfect addition to the new West family…

As Matt and I continue the search for a home, I’ve been thinking about how we’re going to fill it. We’re trying to round up unwanted furniture from family and friends and saving up Ikea gift cards so we can have a place to sit and sleep. (Note: If you have unwanted furniture items, let us know!)
Yet, I don’t think our household would be complete with just the two of us. Therefore, I would like to welcome a tiny little bundle of joy … the pygmy hedgehog!
Apparently they don’t curl up in a defensive ball often and will entertain on a hamster wheel. Plus, they’re just so cute!!!
I told Matt about my brilliant idea, and he, unfortunately, was not on board.
me: can we get a pygmy hedgehog?
me:pleeeeeease?
Matt: nope
me: why not? they’re cute!
Matt: because i’m not a fan of rodent pets, especially super expensive ones that only live four years.
So for those of you with £190 laying around, you may be the lucky one to call a pygmy hedgehog your own.

If you want some ideas about furniture, go with lawn chairs – the portable chairs used to watch soccer or ultimate. Those make wonderful chairs, and they save space, you can just fold them up neatly when they are not in use. My and a roommate had like 4 of them when we lived in SF, and it worked perfectly. No couches, no ottomans, just lawn chairs.
If you get one of those pygmy hedgehogs, please name it Sonic.

And yes, I think Sonic would be the perfect name. It’s just a matter of convincing Matt that we need one. He could be a YR mascot!

I am just full of great ideas. and to think, I was sober when I came up with those two. Just think of the wonderous ideas I get when drunk! Now, if only I can remember them.
